The tribal indigenous Moors of the Americas' past is noted for erecting totem poles. The poles are said to be representative of the people's 'animal' characteristics in the soul. The animal representations are an allegory designed to hide the true meaning of the totems, though the more extended explanation is curiously related. The word 'animal' in it's true context means 'beast'. However, the word 'beast' is an anagram for the word 'beats' as in electromagnetic fields.
